First Official Vietnam Veteran’s Day Celebration for Wisconsin (2010)
Thuy Smith International Outreach would like to thank all of our partners for helping make Wisconsin’s very first Vietnam Veteran’s Day celebration possible. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve with everyone involved. We are also grateful for the opportunity to pay tribute to ALL of our Vietnam Era Veterans and their families.
We love & honor you all!
The actual date for Vietnam Veteran’s day is March 29th. We will be hosting an Annual Banquet the third Saturday in March of each year. It is open state-wide to ALL Vietnam Era Veterans. Each Vet is allowed to bring guests. Gold Star mothers, wives, and children of Vietnam Veterans are also welcomed to attend. Vietnam Veterans Day is also an opportunity for the community’s involvement to bring education and awareness to this day.
